A collaboration between CREATIS informatics group, Thrombus WP5, and the computing center of the National institute of nuclear and particle physics (IN2P3) allowed Thrombus project to enlarge its computational resources for data management and complex algorithms execution in distributed systems.

Guy Courbebaisse, and Bastien Chopard, partners of THROMBUS project, has been invited to present their work during the ICFD2013, Tenth International Conference on Flow Dynamics, in Sendai, Japan on 25-27 November 2013.

During summer 2013 an amendment about THROMBUS project has been submitted and accepted by the European Commission.

For the second year, THROMBUS project has been presented to the general public during the week of the brain. 

A first collaboration has been initiated with the Professor Makoto Ohta of the University of Tohoku

(http://www.ifs.tohoku.ac.jp/divisions/en/ifsd_bcl.html) concerning the interaction of the blood with a coil inserted within an Intracranial Aneurysm.
