Thrombus project presented in 'the tent of neurosciences'

Guy Courbebaisse and Frederique Foulon took part in the French event “La Semaine du Cerveau” (the week of the brain) on Saturday 17th March 2012.

During the ‘week of the brain’ every year, researchers, medical doctors and voluntary associations share their knowledge about the brain to the general public. Debates, workshops, conferences, exhibitions and shows are organized to help everyone to understand how the brain functions.   

On Saturday 17th March 2012, the “Chapiteau des Neurosciences” (the tent of neurosciences) has been installed in the centre of Lyon and around 500 visitors have been welcomed.


Researchers, clinicians and associations of patients were available to answer to questions from the general public on various topics such as: understand the brain, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, autism, cerebrovascular accident, etc.

Thrombus project was presented on the CVA stand and sparked interest and curiosity of visitors.

The poster presented on the stand was a good basis to start discussions.


The event was a success and exchanges with the general public were friendly.
